Basketball Drills Help?
What are some different basketball drills/games which target sprinting and shooting skills but they have to be suitable for 25 kids on 2 courts. Also would would be some good warm up games.
what league are you coaching??
for little league: show them the fun of basketball, teach them the sportsmanship and the competitiveness of the game.
for Jr High (age like): have the do some springs around the court, shadow run, do some dribbling down the court, and passing. teach them the fundamental of the game what is offense and defense. what positions there are and run some play after everyone has assigned a position.
for High School: you shouldn’t be teaching high school basketball based on what you just asked.
what ever you do, the purpose is for the kids to have fun while get some excerise.
learn how to get their respect so they listen to you.
