Why do you think the WNBA finals are short compared to the NBA finals?
For years, it’s bothered me that the WNBA Finals were short compared to it’s NBA equivalent. The WNBA Finals are due to begin pretty soon so I think it’s a great time to discuss this:
Up until recently, the WNBA Finals only had 3 games, and recently it has been increased to 5 games a series. This is compared to 7 Finals games in the NBA. I am wondering why this is so? I find it a shame that the WNBA season is rather short (only about 34 games or so) because these girls can really play well. There really good at basketball.
What is the reason behind the fact that the WNBA playoffs are short in length, so is their regular season, even their games are a bit shorter?

It bothers me that it doesn’t have as many fans. Eventually the WNBA will be a 60 game season. Remember, the NBA used to be a 25 game season.
