basketball lessons for kids
Is stress good for you?

I’m stressed. I’m a kid. I have lots of homework to do, violin lessons, piano lessons, basketball practice, helping senoirs, and karate. Is stress good for you?

No, stress is not good for you. In fact stress actually physically harms your body over time (high blood pressure, etc.).

If you are doing too many things, you may want to tell your parents that you are feeling stressed and that you just can’t do all of the things you are doing.

Let your parents know that you want to do well, and if you are doing too many things you can not do your best.

It’s good to be involved with different activities, but no one can do everything. Of course you have to do your homework, and that is probably your top priority. As far as the other things you are doing, sit down with your parents, and figure out which ones you can give up for right now so that you will not be so stressed.

Also, you need some time to just relax and have fun.

Good luck.
