Man just watch the way the old defenders were allowed to hold MJ. Allow that now and everyone’s PPG would drop at least 7ppg in the NBA. You would see more team passing and less 1 on 1. More guys working to get open shots, by moving and juking defenders without the ball, and setting up for shots. The game has changed. Personally I think it’s for the worse. Ratings say so too in contrast to the “golden era” when we had legends of Mt Rushmore like Bird, Jordan, Magic, Wilkins, Kareem, Hakeem, Malone, Barkley, etc….
