Basketball On Paper Download

Will paper books cease to exist with the new electronic readers?
I was talking to my dad today on the way to basketball, and apparently, back in “his day”, there used to be huge stores which would have floors and floors of CDs. Well, now you just go to itunes and download whatever song onto your ipod. Nobody back then ever anticipated that CD stores would soon cease to exist, but they did. Is it happening with books as well? Will my children think paper books are “old fashioned” and not even know how to open one (just kidding about that last one?) And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Science text books were all downloaded into their desk (which’ll have a built in computer) or something like that.
I doubt it. I can’t imagine my grandmother using anything electronic. Let’s see:
“RUDY (my grandpa)!!! HOW DO YOU TURN THIS THING ON??”
“The button on the back.”
“WHAT??”
“THE BUTTON.”
“WHAT??”
“The. Button. On. The. Back.”
“…”
“Right there.”
“Wait, what is this?”
“An ebook.”
“Oh. I thought it was the remote.”
(She actually does that. She once thought her checkbook was the TV remote.)
Well, I hope it’s not any time soon anyway. I guess it doesn’t matter anyway, the only thing my grandmother reads is the Bible.
