Basketball Plays Against Zone

Help with basketball game?
I have a game this saturday against a team whos players are pretty much my height. im center at 5’8 (13 years old chill) im the best player on my team i could do it all. but my other teammates are small and arent that good. i have another teammate about my height who is pretty good. we probably will play zone defense. but i need help getting points. i can do it all, posting up, shooting, passing, rebounding. but i need advice. Anyone know a way i can almost single handingly take this team out? i need help from those who actually have a basketball iq (not those other 13 year olds)
A little late asking for advise, especially since the game is 2 days away! Try to think of your situation in simple terms: You are going to play a game of 2 on 5..what would you do? First off, you will need to involve the other three players (as much as you’d like to think they are not that good, you will still need to involve them in the game). What you can do is ask the other three kids (provided the coach agrees) to play box and one (where one of those kids is going to be the “and one.”
Double up on the D (double team) and make sure they don’t get any easy shots. Try to find out who is the good shooter on the other team and make sure that person doesn’t get easy shots. Also make sure that the players on the other team take shots that are NOT in their range (3 point shooters are good if they can make 35% of their shots, especially in high school). Once you’ve got this done, make sure that your team competes for the ball (that is blocking, stealing and rebouning) at all times.
It is not rocket science but it sure is going to need team-work.
Single handedly taking the other team is not possible (even Lebron couldn’t do that during the finals and you are at the age where you wouldn’t have seen Bird, Magic or even Michael play (apart from ESPN classics)). You will need your team to play like you’ve never done before (it includes you playing like that). While you consider yourself and the other tall player good (BTW, I have a 13 year old who is 6’4″ but is not very good), it doesn’t mean the coach is at a loss. The coach is going to plan for this kind of a game and will have a game plan in place. Just go play your game the way you know you can and I’m sure the team will follow suit.
