i’m 14 and a girl and i’ve never played basketball before but now i’m on a team. do you have any good tips for me. i know how to play i’m just seriously new to it.

practice your fundamentals. at this age thats all your really going to learn.practice dribbling with your right and left hand and try not to look at the ball.work on passing- bounce pass, chest pass, and overhead pass.work on layups. learn how to do a layup on the right side with your right hand and on the left side with your left hand.work on using good shooting form.use your legs when you shoot.and follow through.
