- American Football – started in 1869 by the National College league.
- Baseball – One of the longest running sports in America, a remake of Cricket.
- Basketball – This is taken very seriously by the Americans and the Russians, but bigger in America.

- Wrestling – Depending on what type you think of, this is either very popular or only a little.
- Tennis – This is considered by some to be very boring, but this has wormed it’s way into the hearts of many Americans.
- Skateboarding – A massive sporting phenomenon, but only with thanks to America.
- Surfing – Yeah Dude, grabbing those waves has been an American Past time.
- Ice Skating – you may not have thought it, but this is a powerful sport in America, as well as other countries as well, namely Russia.
- Boxing – Loved by the Americans and loved by the world, needs to be more frequent.
- Soccer – Slowly getting more and more money and players pumped into it.
- Archery – you may not have thought of this one, but Americans do perform very well.
- Volleyball – Now I am not entirely sure who invented Women’s Volleyball but i would like to shake their hand.
- Cycling – A Strong and athletic sport, but never really took hold of the nation.
- Track and Field – This is the Americans passion at the Olympics, they are by far the best at the Track and Field.
- Horse Racing – A great sport, loved by all mainly for betting, but the riders do well to.
- Rock Climbing – A sport for all to enjoy, indoors or outdoors, much fun to be had, and in great American scenery.
- Extreme Sports – This is where any sport that has a one hundred percent risk of injury is involved.
- Auto Racing – This covers all regions, the reason it doesn’t come that high is because many think it is not a sport.
