Basketball Vocabulary Terms
New Basketball terms?
I need some new basketball terms to put into my vocabulary.
I already have heard dropping bombs, making it rain, balling, Jumper, stroking it, facial. Add any terms you know of or have made up!
drained: ball went in the basket
bounceroop: ball went in the basketball after bouncing on the floor
blackskeetball: another word for basketball
n*ggerball: another word for basketball
headshot: when you hit someone over the head with a basketball
ground pounder: when you dunk on someone and sit in his face while dunking it
crackhoop: a ghetto hoop in the projects used to hide crack cocaine
spinaround: when the ball is on the rim of the basketbal spinning around in its circle
shorty: the short guy who cant dunk
jinx: yelled at someone hoping they miss a basket
Kobe: a basketball type game played indoors with a used condom and a garbage bin
Shaq: when you dunk so hard that you try and destroy the rim and board
sh*tting bullets: when you continuously get the ball straight into the hoop like a swish
doubledribbler: a retarded basketball player
backboard shot: when you stand behind the backboard and shoot the ball from there over the top of the backboard and into the hoop
stab: when you steal the ball agressivly in a gangsta like way pwning the opponent
doublestack: a gambling basketball game where if one team playes against other team with 2 times more people and win, they automaticly win triple.
around the horn: when you do multiple passes at once to all the teammates
double play: 2 shots for the price of one
triple: when you make a 3 point shot
jumped: when someone blocks your shot in yo face
benches juiced: when all the best players are on the bench reserved for last
errorer: someone who cant catch the ball
hoop of murder: a hoop that gets dunks hard constantly
perfect game: a shutout where you stop the other team from scoring completly for an entire game
suicide shot: a 3 point shot at the last second to win a game when you only needed 2 to tie the game
point shaver: someone who cant make any baskets
skyshot: shooting the ball straight up and thrown high hoping for a loud swish
