Can I use varnish over PVC?
I want to put these PVC sticker type things (no adhesive on them) onto a table top and then seal them there with a few coats of clear varnish….but will the varnish make them curl or melt or something? They are thin PVC andthe table is wood.
The best product in the market, as far as in the US (and some places abroad), is Krylon Fusion paint. It is specifically made for plastic and even more specific for PVC. Normally you would have to rough-up the PVC and apply a primer, followed by the actual paint color, however Krylon Fusion goes right over without having to do any prep (aside from cleaning the grease off the pipe).
