Air Hockey Table: Everything You Wish To Know
It’s been a staple item in game rooms since the late sixties and its here to stay. You’d be shocked to know that you are die hard air hockey teams around the world and of course there are many novice enthusiasts with their own tables at home. If you’re one of these people, you’ve got to make sure that you can properly clean your hockey table. Follow my tips and you’re table with be sparkly clean in no time.
There are a lot of people who would love to have an air hockey set-up of their own. Are you one of those people? Would you love to finally be able to be one of the people who get to host the super fun parties that all of the people will rave on about the next day at work? It might sound counterproductive, but a good game of air hockey can really be helpful.
Now, if you have never purchased such tables before, you are going to need to make sure that you are being extra careful. Believe it or not, there are a lot of options out there and if you are not careful, you could end up with a bad quality table and you could have very well spent double the amount that you should have. This is not something that you are going to want to have to deal with.
1. The first thing you should do is remove the built-up dust from your table. You can do this by using the vacuum attachment on your vacuum cleaner to suck off any visible dust. If you don’t already have a pool-table cover, you should invest in one to prevent excess dust from building up on your table.
2. Take extra time and a little elbow grease to scrub down extra dirty areas.
3. Grab a soft cloth and lightly spray it with some all-purpose cleaner. This will leave a coating on the table top that will make playing much easier and smoother. Do not spray the cleaner directly on the table because some residual mist could end up in the air holes of the table.
4. You will also want to use an all-purpose cleaner to clean your puck and your mallets. Only use a small amount to remove built-up oil.
Make sure that you are researching the different brands and models of these types of tables. The more educated you are concerning your purchase, the less likely you will be to regret your purchasing decision. Even though the cost of the tables is not over the top, it is certainly enough money to be concerned about. You do not want to over spend on a table that will get you some laughs from the friends and not in a good way.
