hockey puck roof
Best one-liners in hockey?

I love hockey-speak. Please give me your favorite (and what it translates as)

Example: “Roof it” (To shoot the puck into the top part of the net)
“Get it in that slut” My High School coach would yell this when there was a scrum in front of the opposition’s net! haha
Bob- Bangkok, right? hahaha

I heard this during a major midget practice “today is a great day to play hockey, you’re playing worse every day and right now you’re in the middle of next week” not really a one liner but woah!

one liner to a blueliner “pinch him off”

“Put the wood to it”…back when sticks were made of wood.

Mikael Backlund steals puck, roofs backhand 3/12/11
