hockey shootout questions!!?
in an nhl hockey shootout if the goalie touches the puck with any part of the body is the play over? lets say that he touches the buck but it goes in the goal still counts right?
lets say that it hits the post but goes in does that count? lets say it hits the post and then the goalie hits it in does that count?
can the goalie swing his body out to the shooter in a means to trip him?
once the goalie touches the puck the player can no longer touch it, if they were allowed to you would see a lot of players just jamming the puck in or digging at the goalie. After the player shoots it and the goalie touches it, it can go anywhere after that even into the back of the net. A lot of goalies slide back in shootouts and you see a lot of them reaching for the crossbar to keep themselves out of the net because they have the puck in their pads and if they go in the net the puck goes in and that would count.
