Ice Hockey Skates Clearance
Ice / roller hockey equipment help please?
Here’s the situation. In November I started to play roller hockey because i have had a good interest in ice hockey (mainly the NHL) and i have a couple of friends who play. When i started i just borrowed most of the equipment such as leg guards, elbow guards and a helmet. i have my own skates, stick and gloves. Obviously i want to use my own equipment as i now know i will want to keep playing.
Where can i find clearance hockey equipment or even used equipment. I am a student and i struggle to find extra cash as it is to go out. I have searched everywhere but every time i think i have found a bargain it is always to good to be true.
I know its an expensive sport and i respect that but surely there is alternitives to spending over £250 for all the equipment i need.
I got my stuff from hockeymonkey.com….or rollerhockeymonkey.com….go to one of the sites, and click on the clearance sections…(hockeygiant.com, i think is the site, is also pretty good)
I got a Nike Bauer helmet for about 50 bucks with a cage, also purchased my gloves there for about 20 bucks. They’ll have leg guards, elbow pads, helmets, stuff like that on clearance all the time, you just have to find the right sizes
