Sports Backup Netting: Don’t pay extra for the damage of Lacrosse
Your son has just been introduced to the fastest growing sport in the U.S, Lacrosse. Great, but bad news for your valuables because that momentum generated by your little boy can whip a Lacrosse ball up to 50 mph. At 50 mph, a 5.5 ounce solid rubber Lacrosse ball can dent steel, crack siding and unfortunately kill every living thing in it’s path.
So, I am going to tell you about a great way to stop your son from shooting Lacrosse balls through your neighbor’s window or damaging your fences. Don’t pay for market Lacrosse Backstops because quite frankly they are a rip off. I’ve seen them sell for $ 300 and as much as $ 2000. In their package deals you are recieveing nylon and aluminum poles in a box with some generic description of how YOU have to assemble it.
Why pay all that money when you could purchase the same materials at Lowe’s and put it together for a fraction of the price? Plus, a market Lacrosse Backstop does not consider the unique layout of your yard. Who knows that better than you? Some yards may have trees, houses and play-sets in the yard. Be creative and use that to your advantage and not spending money on aluminum poles.
If you look at the pictures I posted, you will see that it doesn’t have to look pretty, it just has to work, and thats exactly what my creation has done. Actually its pretty crude.
