Lacrosse Grip Tape

Does grip tape on a lacrosse stick make it easier to cradle?
Im pretty new at lax, but it seems to be harder to cradle with gloves on my stick, which has no grip, then when im just playing without gloves. I can cradle either way, but the ball just falls out more when I am using gloves. If I got grip tape to put on stick, would it make it easier?
depends on the shaft.
say your compareing having something like a swizzbeat or swizzle compared to something else thats just plain out alluminum.
if the shaft feels good and has good grip on it(you will know if it feels like that) then you will barely need any grip tape besides on the butt.
but some people put one small strip of grip tape for where there hands will be when they pass or shoot.
those tapes arnt for grip its just for a guide to know where your comfort spot is.
