Bible And Christian Camps Encourage Kids And Teens To Grow Spiritually And Emotionally
Many parents believe it is important to send their kids to a summer camp that supports Christian values. In order for families to feel comfortable with day camps and overnight camps for kids they often prefer children to attend a Christian or Bible camp.
Christian Camp Programs Offer Access to Adventure, Sports and the Arts
Teens and younger children can attend Christian summer camps that offer outdoor adventure, sports, arts, music and other activities with the added benefits of Bible studies, prayer time, worship services and more. Christian camps allow girls and boys to participate in horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, basketball, acting, academic, mountain biking, lacrosse, computer and technology, soccer, and much more, all within a Christian atmosphere.
The Advantages of Sending Your Kids to a Christian Camp
The advantages of Christian camps are many, especially if you are raising your children in a Christian environment. Camp staff and directors are trained to build relationships with campers and to help kids grow spiritually and emotionally while participating in exciting camp programs. Christian summer camps also provide specialty programs not found at other summercamps such as bible camp programs, faith development activities, worship services, and outreach ministries.
Where and How to Find a Christian Summer Camp
Bible and Christian summer camps are located across the United States. Most parents can find a suitable camp in their home state with any number of outdoor adventure, sports, music or arts activities. Coed summer camps, as well as girls and boys camps, are also options.. Christian camps can also be found in any setting. Explore camps located in the mountains, at the ocean, near a lake or in the woods. Online camp directories are an excellent resource for parents searching for Christian summer camps. Explore all of the opportunities your child has and then you can decide together which summer camp program will provide the best experience and value.
In today’s world kids are bombarded with messages from all kinds of of media. Radio, TV, the Internet, magazines and digital media present a variety of viewpoints and ideas to children. Christian influences in the home, at school and at summer camp can help teach kids how to think for themselves and make healthy, value-based decisions. Give your child the chance to explore their faith and beliefs at Christian camp.

I Was Write All Along $2.86 Richard E. (Dick) Dietl, born May 31, 1930, in Dunnell, MN, has spent 62 years of his life as a writer, mostly as a magazine or newspaper journalist. As a graduate of Luther College, Decorah, IA, his introduction into college sports came as a stringer for the LaCrosse Tribune, LaCrosse, WI, and a writer for the Luther College student paper, Chips. After a trip to Korea as a writer at the expense of the United States Army, he spent seven years in a teaching career he loathed. Dietl worked part-time at the Fairmont Daily Sentinel, Fairmont, MN, until breaking away from education into full time employment as its sports editor. That lasted a year before he began a 46-year trek through college athletics at the University of Northern Iowa (then the State College of Iowa), Drake University, West Texas State A&M University (then West Texas State University), George Washington University, Duke University and the University of Oregon. Throw in seven years with the National Rehabilitation Association, Alexandria, VA, and five years under the wing of the White House with the President%u2019s Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities. Dietl was married twice, had three children, Rick, Lizanne and Carrie Ann with his first wife and four grandchildren. He suffered a sub-cranial aneurysm in 1986 and a stroke in 2006, cutting short an oil painting career that he claims was going nowhere. Just a worthy hobby. He proclaims himself sufficiently untalented on any playing field, despite the inner feeling of being a potential star. He became an observer of those with real athletic talent, devoting much of his time in exalting their accomplishments with the written word. |
