The team has managed to produce great players in the sport. Another thing that excites the fans of the Maple Leafs is their mascot. A polar bear named Carlton waring a jersey with the number 60 is their mascot. The bear was a tribute to the Maple Leaf Gardens which housed the team most of their existence. The name was from the address of the arena, #60 Carlton Street.
The fans of the team comes from various parts of the Americas. The Leafs? fans were even considered to be the most loyal among the others. As the team faced their rival in the league, the Montreal Canadians, the cheering of the supporters never fails to rouse the Leafs. And with every cheer the fans belt out, the Leafs reciprocate by providing them a game worth all their efforts.
