Soccer questions???????
One: What are six performance cues for dribbling?
Two: When are the two times that offsides occur?
Three: What are three fouls that result in an indirect kick?
Four: What are four fouls that result in a direct kick?
Five: How many points is a goal worth?
1) Touch, control, speed, and balance
2) A) player in the offside position and he/she plays a passed ball
B) If the player is in the offside position and they come back to the onside position to retrieve the ball
C) If a teammate takes a shot and interferes with an opposing player (keeper) in which keep them from stopping or attempting to stop the shot.
D) In the offside position when the shot is taken and the ball rebounds to them.
E) Once the player dribbling the ball passes the defense the ball becomes the offside marker. So if you and your teammate are running down field and you dribble through the defense, and your teammate is ahead of the ball and you pass to him, he will be offside.
C) was seen this when Dempsey took a shot in the World Cup and Brian McBride was called offside because his body was past the defense and blocking the keepers vision of the ball while the shot was taken even though he tried to move out of the way.
E) Can be seen by Ivory Coast when they were playing against the USA. They did this and it cost them a goal.
3) Offside, dangerous play, double touch violations, goalie violations, and delay of game
4) kicking, tripping, jumping at, charging, striking, pushing, tackling, or any attempt to do the following towards an opponent.
5) a goal is one point. There is no “three point line”. Now, in most co-ed leagues if a man scores it is 1 point, if a woman scores it is 2 points.
