Soccer Dribbling Tips
Soccer tryouts are next week on monday? I need tips?
Ohkay, so I’m trying out for the soccer team (monday the fifth i think) i know i asked a similar question, but i really need some tips.
today i ran and dribbled to get ready, did some sit ups, and other things.
what should i do? i plan to run a lot more too. also what other excerises should i do? i think my weakest is dribbling the ball in between cones. so yeah, thanks so much!
ps – i’m really scared , i’ve only been playing soccer for about a year and a half, and i really want to make the team. there are other girls that have been playing longer than me so any tips on that? thanks.
thanks for the answers so far, and also i forgot to say i was tyring out for midfield and defense, but mostly midfield.
what ever you do put your heart into it and you will be fine. I would also have to say that you should really practice on speed and touch since those two in a combo can really impress. But if you feel that you have a good foot for shots then go for it. And since you say you cant really dribble in between the cones practice that everyday! eventually you will become really good. Also do suicides on the field (if it has yard lines) also try to go to some bleachers and run them since that alone can be an intense workout. improve body strength also since you will probably need it.
