Soccer Gloves Youth
Some goalkeeping tips?
I have always wanted to play goalkeeper for my AYSO soccer team (american youth soccer organization). I know all the fundamentals like charging the forward on a break away, catching or punching the ball out on a corner kick, diving. What else should I know? Today I put on some goalkeeping gloves and blocked a couple of shots. Anything else?
I also already know how to cut down the angle.
that all sounds very good what you are doing continue that i think also being a goalkeeper you can see the whole of the play in front of you so be loud and talk to your players tell them what you need them to do if they pick up there men and cut out the danger it will make your job alot easier i think distributing the ball is important if you can throw it and keep your team in possesion thats great. stand a few yards of your line but not to much to get lobbed as this will make the goal look smaller.
