Religious vs Historical football/soccer match?
Trying to put together the ideal/ridiculous football match.
Religious team would play the Historical team.
Jesus would be good anywhere as he pulls off miracles but after crucifixion he’d be feeling the injuries.
Angel Gabriel would be on the wing.
John the baptist would be no good at headers.
Lazarus would be dead ’til Jesus give him a talking to.
Moses would be giving the rules or as physio bringing on a couple of tablets.
Pontius Pilate referee.
In goal for the histories Lord Nelson (“A one armed man could have saved that!”)
Centre half, Hermann Georing, very strong in the air.
Their leader of course would Adolf Hiller who did a great job of leading his team in the early stages supported by Julius Caesar who triumphed against Britain in 55 B.C.
Centre forward Stephen Hawking, not doing very well, he’s just marking time
Etc. etc.
