what is stanford looking for? hear me out…?
i had a friend that got accepted into stanford. he was a 3.7 GPA student that did overseas service trips, was from the middle of nowhere (utah) and played varsity soccer. his other college applications were to university of san francisco and some other 3rd tier university.
i had a friend who got waitlisted by stanford. he was known to be the most intelligent individual at my school (he had the genius thing going on) he got accepted to harvard, princeton, yale, columbia, MIT, northwestern, and upenn. he wasn’t a nerd either. he was somewhat popular with the students, he was an active member in the drama community, and he was nhs president, along with a myriad of other service and extra curricular activities. he went to an international school overseas.
so what is stanford looking for? i’m so confused!!
You have to ask them what they want.contact admissions………………maybe they overlooked something or you don’t have or are not telling the whole story…………..
