Birthday Gift Ideas for a Sweet 16?
My sister is one of the hardest people in the entire world to buy gifts for… and she’s turning 16 in a couple of weeks so this year the gift needs to be special.
She plays soccer and volleyball, but she’s a real girly-girl. She knows fashion but she has her own opinions and her own look. She loves to read, particularly books like ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Twilight’ and ‘Percy Jackson’. She loves tv shows like ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Smallville’.
She has already vetoed boxed sets of books or seasons of tv shows that she knows I like too because it isn’t ‘her’ gift. She doesn’t want cds and she doesn’t want clothes, and she doesn’t wear jewellery.
She hates it whenever I make her things because she thinks I’m trying to save money and completely misses the personal angle to it.
