Those starting a dollar store often fail to comprehend the immense potential for dollar store sales party goods provides. 6. Hat theme – Kids and parents are always on the lookout for hats and helmets. Start with baseball hats, fireman hats, policeman hats, princess hats/crowns, and then build your selection from there.
7. Princess theme – Magic wands, crowns, white gloves, jewelry, high heels and more.
8. Magic theme – Once again magic wands are a winner here. Then add magic cards, capes, magic trick books, and magic tricks.
The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. It is easy to develop a theme of the month for the kids. You will see the children and their parents coming back time and again for the themed dollar store merchandise they saw during their last visit. Only the return visit is to make purchases.
