Soccer Players Diet Plan
what is a better diet plan? help please!

well, i’m not really trying to lose weight. Maybe 5 pounds, but mainly I just want to be healthy. I am 15 and 5’3, 115 pounds. some of that weight comes from muscle thpugh, because I am a year round soccer player.
anyway so what would be the better “diet” plan: eating 3 meals a day with nothing in between (breakfast, lunch, then dinner); or eating 3 meals a day with a small healthy snack in between them (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner)?
Obviously the less food you intake, the less calories you’ll ingest. So right off the bat, 3 meals vs 5 means seems like a no brainer. But if you have to increase your meal size to sustain the lifestyle, I’d say the 5 smaller meals is better.
Just eat healthy. Drink lots of water. And don’t snack on things that are going to be unhealthy, chocolate, cake, chocolate cake, icecream, sugar, chips, dip, etc.
