I ‘m not really going to inconvenience with a reflection on their reiterate of the football warfare. It’s were made. Lots of times. As a matter of fact, I plausibly achieved it last year… oh look, so I did with my revaluation of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.
Thing is, we’d still be talking of Pro Evolution Soccer’s unsatisfying doldrums, even minus the rising slope of that other game. Naturally, yearly we ‘re assured this year changes. “We ‘ve really broken up it time, guv, honest,” say Konami, before going ahead and making zippo of the sort. PES hasn’t been anything lower than fantastic play, but it’s a chance to push forward.
So has it? It sure as shooting seems the part, with a graphic renovation doing the game much easygoing on the eyes. Player similitudes are amazingly exact, if unnervingly glass-eyed, and the entire presentment is glossier, glitzier. The comment is uproariously amazing as usual, with Jon Champion bawling “GUESS WHO? !” at random intervals and Jim Beglin showing quotations from the big book of football.
Animation has immensely modified too, eventhough that’s something of a backhand compliment. The player motion in PES2011, while feeding in effect than the robotic whirs of 2010, still has identifiable oddities. The ball still gravitates back towards the driveller’s feet when in willpower, transitions are unwieldy and uncanny, and it now and again delivers some fantastic possible actions : dangling legs firing off scorching volleys at impossible angles, and front-on headers going backwards.
But you know what? On the surface it still appears dated and, well, a bit naff, but at the risk of voicing like an apologist, it’s very deliberate, it’s very precise. There’s a grade of mechanically skillful transparency in PES’s stilted move which allows you to gaze right into the game’s engine, seeing exactly how all the things works when you press the button. It’s something you can poke at, learn and take advantage. It’s a very Japanese way of nearing video gam. Free Download PES 2011
