Any ideas for articles about football (soccer)?

I want to write some articles to test my skills, but I don’t know what to write for. Any ideas?
It has to be something about football (soccer), mostly Italian.

You could do a match report on a recent game, a story on a recent scandal, a player/team assessment about how good/bad of a season they had, or even possible transfer rumors, which are always fun to read about. Anyways, when you write it, send it to me. I’ve met a guy over the web who might be able to help you find a job writing if that’s what you’re looking for. Good luck.
