Does anyone know the statistics?
This is a long history. My city is in a great debate about whether they tear up a grass practice field and replace them with a full sized turf field. I cannot in the advantages and disadvantages to get, but I can tell you I am sure that not a substitute for the repair. My question is not anyone know where I can the statistics of injuries on turf vs. deposits. The fields for all sports, lacrosse, soccer, football, Hockey used etc. Thanks in advance.
Because of the changes it makes in the game, and because it obviously does not inspire natural grass, artificial turf strong opinions among the Fans. Those who favor artificial surfaces enjoy the emphasis on speed over power, or simply the variety of playing styles. Opponents dislike the lawn and the domed stadiums and cookie cutter areas where it was mostly used as unaesthetic and unnatural. There are also some claims that artificial surfaces, especially those maintained poorly supported by the cost of replacing a rough surface, increase the risk of injury. Arguments about the pros and Cons of artificial turf have taken off in recent years as most parks that have used it have been replaced by ones with natural grass, and become as the modern versions are grass-like. in my own opinion …… I think they should just replace it with grass. it just seems easier for all ….
